Where the bug happens

your browser

Chrome

Describe the bug

I'm using the locatorjs chrome extension. After upgrading WebStorm to 2023.2, clicking an element doesn't lead to the actual component (just switch to Webstorm) If I change the IDE to VS code - it works.

To reproduce

Just click any component (with configuration to open webstorm)

It works ok for me with WebStorm 2023.2. Going to both file and line/column.

It doesn't work on Windows, but it works on Mac

Almost same issue here (opens empty WebStorm window in light-mode when clicking on an element) after upgrading WebStorm to 2023.3.2 (from 2023.3) with Jetbrain Toolbox app. Seems it is caused by the upgrade process not specific WebStorm version. Still the same issue after downgrading to 2023.3 ¯\(ツ)/¯ (MacOS Sonoma)

Edit: ~Fixed by setting "Default project directory" in Settings > Appearance and Behavior > System Settings to my projects folder path~

Edit2: The problem was caused by one of directories caontaining '+'

I also encountered the same problem when upgrading from March 1, 2023 to June 3, 2023, and was unable to open files through LocatorJS redirection
