12 months ago We have at least one way to set up a dev environment from a snapshot, but this specific issue is to provide a way for anyone outside the Infinite org to do this with a public version of the DB stripped of organizer contact emails.
We now have a sanitized prod snapshot being published to an s3 bucket. We can create a version of the script that restores prod locally to a docker container that lives in the normal project and doesn't requires to a private repo
