You will need to delete and install the new version, sorry. The error is from adb and I can't do much about it. You'll face the same error if you try to install from the adb command line.
Are you saying there is a newer version of WSA? Where do I get it?Sent from my iPhoneOn May 1, 2024, at 12:59 PM, Ahnaf Mahmud @.***> wrote: Closed #118 as completed.

I meant you need to delete the Kindle app from WSA and install the latest version of the app. Also, WSA has been discontinued by Microsoft so there won't be any more updates to WSA itself. https://github.com/microsoft/WSA/discussions/536
Okay thank you. I will try that.Sent from my iPhoneOn May 1, 2024, at 3:03 PM, Ahnaf Mahmud @.***> wrote: I meant you need to delete the Kindle app from WSA and install the latest version of the app. Also, WSA has been discontinued by Microsoft so there won't be any more updates to WSA itself. microsoft/WSA#536

Same error after deleting it and restarting WSA. The older 8.99 version of kindle installs and works fine. Disappointing that Microsoft is dropping support for WSA.

Possibly there is something with the APK that WSA is not liking. Where did you download it from?
From what I heard, WSA was discontinued as they rely on Microsoft Store revenue to fund development but the revenue wasn't sufficient enough to continue it.
I was using APKPURE. I got tired of that environment and tried BLUESTACKS out. It seems to be working better. Given that MS is deprecating WSA I might as well get away from it.Thx for your responsesSent from my iPhoneOn May 2, 2024, at 4:54 PM, Ahnaf Mahmud @.***> wrote: Possibly there is something with the APK that WSA is not liking.
