Customer would like a Debian distribution for InfluxDB 2.0 OSS #4

Proposal: Request is for a Debian distribution for InfluxDB 2.0 OSS

Current behavior: We have InfluxDB 2.0 OSS Beta available as Docker image, Mac OS, Linux 64-bit and ARM 64-bit.

Desired behavior: Racepoint Energy (Cloud 2.0 Annual customer) is asking for a Debian distribution to be available for 2.0 OSS Alternatives considered: None.

Use case: Why is this important (helps with prioritizing requests)? Customer uses Debian in their IOT devices. They are a Cloud 2.0 customer, but they also want to use OSS on their edge devices to store and process at the edge and forward aggregated data to Cloud for long term storage.

Do they want this only for ease of installation, or do they need to have the deb in a repository that has an always up to date version so they can use apt to keep the InfluxDB on the edge devices up to date?

I have to believe it is the latter. I will confirm today with the customer and let you know. @mhall119 @rickspencer3 .
