Share option for dashboards as in Grafana #5393

Hi! As mentioned https://github.com/influxdata/chronograf/issues/1208 and similar issues, it would be great to embed any dashboard or single graph in an iframe - basically the same way as Grafana offers it.

@thomasklein thanks for opening this. We are definitely thinking about ways to do that in the latest UI for InfluxDB. Depending on the solution there, we will see how hard it would be to backport.

Also, we would gladly review a community effort on this, but i think it might be pretty involved.

This is keeping us from fully investing in a switch to Chronograf. My smaller team needs read/write permissions to charts and dashboards but we also want to share these with a larger community as read-only. Re-implementing some charts over to grafana feels a wasteful duplication of work.

Would there be any way for us to fund such a feature if it isn't on the roadmap?

I'm surprised a dashboard can't be opened in presentation mode by default. The github issue relating to storing that option in the URL so the dashboard opens directly into presentation mode is redirected to this issue. I hope someone takes this seriously enough to finally implement it. It would be a major upgrade to dashboards in InfluxDB.

I'll probably have to go use Grafana, which is what I imagine most people do. But it's a shame I have to use a completely different product just for this one feature.
