release date for Influxdb OSS 3.0? #24248

Saw a blog post announcing influxdb 3.0 GA in Influxdb Cloud Dedicated version. Is OSS 3.0 version to be relased as well?

Since then the IOX repo got merged to this repo's main as README.md currently explains.

There haven't been many commits since so I don't expect it works properly, but I'm curious if anyone has tried to play with it as-is.

I managed to build from current main branch and service can start. I don't have time to try further at this time. Anyone tried to use it?

Edit: I was unable to connect - not sure how auth is supposed to work here and don't see the option to disable auth.

Many features are currently missing, and you can see relevant information in the test cases. I'm certain this is a preliminary version, and the InfluxData team has not yet actively developed in the main branch for now. However, it's good news for Rust users to see the Rust client for InfluxDB 2.0 and IOx already available.
