I noticed from the recent commits that the values below were removed.
admin:
enabled: false
bind_address: 8083
https_enabled: false
https_certificate: /etc/ssl/influxdb.pem
However, these are still defined in the templates/service.yaml
file. If anyone else has this issue, I cloned the repo to my local machine and deployed locally on my machine with the values added back in.
The values.yaml
file for InfluxDB should look like this:

I copy and pasted this here in case anyone else wants to just copy and paste it.
Then, go into the file directory and type helm package influxdb
and helm install influxdb-1.6.1.tgz --name (some name) --namespace (some namespace) --values (file for values)
.
The .tgz
name may be different.
That section of the yaml should be removed --- as opposed to adding the values back in. The [admin] section has been deprecated for some time. I'll correct the yaml.
With the new updates, I get an error that says:
However, this issue did not exist a few days ago.
I was wondering what this issue was? I have tried searching for answers for the error, but there were no answers.
