Hi @gearcapitan ! Can you paste here your ~/.faraday/config/user.xml file? That is a problem with your configuration file, the field 'api_con_info_host' should be wrong.

Check your /etc/hosts, if localhost is defined. In the user.xml file of Faraday, change

localhost

for

127.0.0.1

This should fix that problem.

Ok, change to 127.0.0.1 resolved that problem. Faraday Server is listen in 5985?

Ah ok. You need read https://github.com/infobyte/faraday/wiki/First-steps for configure Faraday. You need run couchdb, and Faraday server for start the Faraday client.

http://localhost:5985/_ui if you go to this URL, the webUi is opened?

the localhost to 127.0.0.1 fixed my install on kali rolling solid suggestion Eze... thanks for the assist.
