Mobile widget Infor GO #34

Hi,

How do you publish a tenant widget that has only the target platform "mobile" to Infor GO/Workspace after the upgrade to Infor Portal? Adding the target "default" in the manifest made it possible to add the widget to a workspace. Has the target "mobile" lost its purpose?

Hi, Yes your observation is correct. It has lost its purpose if you are referring to OS Portal. It’s there for information in the details in the catalog but it does not have any impact on the behavior as in OS Portal you need to have the widget on a workspace. There is not a list of mobile widgets that you can switch between as we had in Homepages and as such it is currently not used.

But we might use it in the future so if it’s specifically for Mobile please continue and add that target but you must also make it available for “normal” mode.
