Feedburner feeds sometimes seem to have trouble (without ?format=xml)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add a Feedburner feed without ?format=xml on the end

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Sometimes the feed can't be added properly. It seems to work some of the
time and not others. Perhaps Feedburner tries to serve up its "Subscribe to
this feed" page if it thinks the browser accessing it isn't an RSS reader,
but I'm not sure why it would work some times and not others.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
