Good idea. I'm definitely up for something like that. Always keep an eye out for cool Audio/Video Player APIs to eventually build out something non gaming related for @brassmonkey.
I've mirrored the Rdio TV App suggestion here: https://github.com/brassmonkey/brassmonkeyjs/issues/2
And created the 'Project Ideas' label here: https://github.com/brassmonkey/brassmonkeyjs/issues?labels=Project+Ideas&page=1&sort=comments&state=open
You work at Mozilla and Rdio?
Last year, we had a winamp web-services plugin that gave you remote control over your playlists.

In case you hadn't seen it too, we also have a simple Sound Player Demo that uses the HTML5 SDK, see here: http://playbrassmonkey.com/developers/html5/examples/soundcloud/soundcloud.html
@francoislaberge I used to work at Mozilla, now work at Rdio on the API team. Pleased to meet you. :-)
Nice to meet you too! Email me at francoislaberge@gmail.com if you don't mind. I'd love to find out more about the new Javascript SDK, sounds awesome (Doing parse.com style pure JS client side persistence). I don't understand how Rdio is legally able to do what it does. So cool!
Ok, hook me up. @ shaules@playbrassmonkey.com
I tried: http://dev-beta.rdio.com/create/ to no avail.
Probably get the basic controls done in an hour once you allow me to hook in.
Andy

For the Rdio API, we've had good success collecting project ideas for any dev to hack on:
https://github.com/rdio/api/issues?labels=project+ideas&state=open
You might try the same thing? If you do, here's my first addition to it:

Cheers!
