The lock read only the bower_components/ folder, but it's possible configure other folder to receive the packages in the configuration file.

Sorry, I open the code e see that this validation exists, but the code in NPM wasn't update.

@MaKleSoft , can you check to see if NPM has the latest version of this. I would push it myself but I think I still have the Windows line ending issue.
