Hi,

We are in the process of applying for FDA certification and need to include information about the end-of-life dates for packages. Could someone please inform me if there are any available details regarding the end of support for parse5 version 6.0.3?

so far it has been a fairly informal lifetime. we're still happy to support 6.x with fixes and security but haven't defined any strict EOL date

that doesn't make things easy for you trying to document this stuff, though. so maybe Felix, Titus and I need to come up with something 🤔

@fb55 @wooorm thoughts?

what is the result of us not having an EOL date specified? is there still a way for you to pass certification?

Sounds like OP has a lot of money. On a deadline. To make a throwaway account just for this issue. I would ask a lot of money for such custom requests. $200000?

As for the literal question, any released version is frozen. 6.0.3 cannot ever be changed. So it cannot be maintained either.

When making this broader: ^6.0.3: there is no support for this old release line.
