I don't think I am writing it wrong but the bottom piece of code doesn't work in Unity. Anyone can help me out?

Hey, Welcome here. Note that you posted the issue in the more "language ink question". What environment you are using to run it in your game should not impact your question.

1) To format code on github use the tick 3 times around your paragraph. It will prevent auto formatting (or select theAdd Code` button to surround it automatically) 2) The code you have written is a ink logic code. It's not unity code. If you are coding in unity, you need to write it in the language you have parametered your project (either js or cs). 3) if the code is from an ink file, is it working in inky? (the editor where you can write ink) 4) If it is working in inky and not in unity, can you explain what is not working and what steps you did. and what modification you did to the unity code if you did any?

Can you get us a small ink code that repro your problem and tell us where that's not working as you expected?
