Source block: The first block has no input port, it produces samples. Such a block, with only output ports Control: User drags it into the flowgraph, then set an channel frequency(for the block). Effect: Package is imported. More effective mapping: highlight absolutely necessary fields, and make absolutely necessary field unpopulated so user must correctly define the block.

Sink block: the final block, with no outputs Control: User drags it into the flowgraph, connect any blocks necessary blocks to the input(s) of the sink block. Effect: Package is imported. More effective mapping: specify that there might not be fields to be populated
