Exif problem when uploading directly from camera on phones

Thank you for a brilliant library, however it has a "bug" which is also reproducible on your examples:

Open this example with a mobile device:

then add a new image > choose to make a photo right away with the mobile device > make the picture Vertically (as usual with phones)

you will see that the thumbnail is then rendered horizontally... once uploaded and saved, exif is read and everything is fine, yet the initial preview is a suboptimal experience

reproduced on an iphone and a samsung galaxy too, so not device specific

example below (note I am holding the pen vertically), after upload everything is fine

I'd be more than happy to pay to get this issue resolved, please advise if this is possible!
