7 years ago send mails with workflow tasks in configurable intervals.
1st iteration:
list records to be approved
create link to records that need approval
send mail with records to be approved to any member of the approver-role
An unprivileged site member may submit records, which have to be approved by a site-administrator.
Approver receive updates on submitted records and may either approve or reject a record.
If the record is rejected the original contributor receives a notice with the approvers explanation.
