Errors shouldn't brake building now, only give warnings

Thank you so much for your contribution @mindaugasPak 🎉 🙌 . Will test later today and see if we can get this merged. Code seems alright, but I just want to check whether this needs to be enforced as a pre build rule in the first place 👍
