I am an idiot that does not know how to make this work... can somehow make screenshots of process

Same... this is not exactly very explanatory. And bytheway it implies you have a VIRTUAL PRIVATE SERVER

Actually you don't need a VPS for this as you can run this script directly on the steam deck itself (or even on PC if that's required). This is clearly stated in readme. All you have to do is:

  • download this https://github.com/inox9/etsradiotc/archive/refs/heads/main.zip
  • unpack it somewhere on SD
  • open stations.json file in some editor (Kate for example) and add your stations' stream urls (there are already 2 stations in that file as an example)
  • save stations.json file
  • run cd /path/to/unpacked/repository; ./server.py --port 48042 command in Konsole (be sure to replace /path/to/unpacked/repository with the path where you unpacked zip from above).
  • then you have to add stations to "live_streams.sii" config file of ETS2/ATS

well, i still dont get it. run cd /path/to/unpacked/repository; ./server.py --port 48042 is not a cmd command line instruction i tried installing pyton 3, and in pyton console i cannot run it. non of your suggestion work, always syntax error.

How? Could you please explain me? Thanks a lot. i think im almost there, when i launch the .py nothing happens, a window open for a millisecond then closes
