Hello @danielmain, long time no see :)

It should be explicitly and clearly explained up front that you can either use blockfrost for a lightweight process, or if you want to run a local node which is more heavyweight. "Set up required tooling" should therefore wholly be marked optional (and markdown-collapsible imho to reduce reading complexity of the README) - only if you wish to run your node through daedalus or nix. Nothing in this part here is relevant if you just want to use blockfrost except in the system node.js. Therefore, there should be a section, e.g., "System Requirements", which mentions "node.js", which is common for all users. Maybe also "not windows" if that's the limitation as well.
"Step 1: Set up wallet" could also have collapsible options right in the a) b) c) enumeration
Maybe it's my setup but the "For Linux users (using nix):" section did not work for me, perhaps some missing dependencies that were not mentioned. After "nix develop" the build failed after an hour saying this error:
