REPL Terminal setup #286

Hello, I am having difficulties with setting up bash in the REPL Terminal. Whenever I type in the terminal I am not getting any confirmation for my commands and the normal UI isn't showing up. And when I try to change the directory I get an error message saying that "file is not found". Please let me know how I can resolve this issue.
