On MacOS, after having flashed the FW, HDCP is bypassed for HDMI passthrough to a monitor across reboots. So the HDCP bypass is persistent for that.
However when interfacing with the ShadowCast 2 Pro via MacOS as a webcam, you need to use the tool to disable HDCP each time. It would be idea to not have to do this, but I'm not aware of the implementation details.
I keep hearing mixed item, but my experience has been that...
Should I be needing to run this each time? I'm hearing people don't have this concern. A yes/no would be appreciated, @insidetheshadow. Thank you for your hard work, but I'm 100% confused.
