website timeline content #15

In the timeline for the website, we need content for key milestones and key upcoming features. The content should align with the following templates in general:

<Date/Time>: 20xx Q2

: {tern} is made available on CRAN : 2023 Q4 : New filter panel in {teal} is expected to be launched and will contain numerous enhancements including module-specific filtering! We should have at least 6~7 items shown on the timeline.

Please find it below. I did my best. Feel free to modify / add / delete the list

2017 Q1 - The first POC version of teal. 2017 Q4 - BaselR presentation about rtables POC. 2018 Q1 - The first version of rtables, tern, teal.oncology, random.cdisc.data. 2018 Q3 - NEST workshop and numerous talks at R/Pharma. 2019 Q1 - NEST project got funded. Established the team of full time developers. 2019 Q2 - The first release of NEST packages to the Roche internal exploratory environment. 2019 Q2 - The first version of TLG-Catalog. 2020 Q2 - NEST packages got (internally) validated and allowed to be used in the regulatory environment. 2020 Q4 - NEST completed its target of supporting 200 TLGs. 2021 Q1 - The first CRAN release of rtables. 2021 Q3 - Open-source the codebase which triggered collaborations with other pharma companies. 2022 Q1 - The very first R-based submission to FDA using NEST packages. 2022 Q1 - NEST project internally recognised by winning the Breakthrough Award. 2022 Q2 - Refactor teal into many child packages. 2022 Q2 - NEST tutorial at useR!. 2022 Q2 - The first CRAN release of formatters - formatting engine of rtables. 2022 Q3 - The first POC version of rlistings. 2023 Q3 - The first CRAN release of tern.

To-do:

I did not mention things like automation refactors, internal process changes etc. as I thought it is irrelevant for the outside stakeholders who will be looking at this.

Suggest to add the first time teal app was used as supplementary tool in a study read-out milestone.

Also re "2018 Q1" - I don't recall any package called teal.oncology??

It's there: 2022 Q1 - The very first R-based submission to FDA using NEST packages.

Shall I rephrase that?

suggestion from @piresj :

Regarding the roadmap/key milestones on the site, it currently shows the from the beginning in 2017 and then people have to scroll right for most recent. Would it look better showing as default the most recent and then having people to scroll left if they want to learn more? This is based on the assumption that recent key milestones are more impactful for people to capture the value of NEST
