[BUG] Images linked in README.md do not appear on mobile app #7

Describe the bug Any README.md image does not appear on Github Mobile app on IOS. Instead an error loading image appears.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open GitHub mobile app
  2. Navigate to this repo
  3. Observe images not loading

Expected behavior Images appear as on web

This appears to be an issue with images stored via git-lfs displaying on native mobile client. See Community Discussion #28168.

I have not yet decided whether it is worth it to switch to tracking images directly without lfs....
