Totoro is still unable to recognize the anime title on its own.
And the episode number is missing from the notification banner.
In addition, the Now Playing tab displays "Anime title, Episode number".
Totoro recognized this anime title.
Anime: Jigokuraku File Name: Jigokuraku - 12.mkv
However, when I click yes on this message, the app instantly closes, and the number of watched episodes remains unchanged.
I also tested with "Tengoku Daimakyou" EP 13, and everything seems fine with this one.
can you give log files when these happened ?

also what where the file names? I've only tested with torrent file names, eg ([SubsPlease] Mashle - 01 (720p) [3A47A5D9].mkv)

I tested it again with Mashle - 11.mkv, and the app still can't recognize the anime name by itself, and I have to select the correct one from the menu. After that, everything seemed fine, and the watched list got updated after closing MPC and pressing yes from the prompt message.
the fix is committed, not released. will be released along with some other bug fixes. (probably next week)

As for the Jigokuraku issue, here's the file name and the log file.
File name: Jigokuraku - 12.mkv Log file: log20230625.txt
The right anime title is not being recognized by the app.
File name: Horimiya Piece - 04.mkv Totoro version: 1.2.4.0 Log file: log20230723.txt
Additionally, you could include a "Wrong Anime" option on the Now Playing tab to open a search box and allow users to select the right anime title.
Another useful thing is to add a section to the anime page where you can add alternative titles, which might help with detection.
Did you find a fix for this?
if you have a list of file names i could write a unit test and quickly find out the incorrect ones.

Try this: Jigokuraku - 12.mkv For me, the app closes after watching for a few seconds and closing MPC-HC. Also, if the app was minimized while you were watching, you won't be able to show the window until you uninstall it and delete the Totoro folder from Appdata/Local.
Jigokuraku - 12.mkv works for me, is there something in logs ?

It seems to work fine for me now as well. I'll send the log if I'm able to reproduce it again.
