I just stumbled on this Gem and looked pretty cool. I'm going to be investigating using it for own company.
I did want to encourage you to consider replacing blacklist/whitelist and master/slave phrasing with blocklist/whitelist and reader/follower in the Gem. A lot of Black people feel uncomfortable with those terms because they can be interpreted racially. A common migration path is to change the identifier to the new term and then keep support for the old term in the code. That allows everyone to keep functioning just fine and address the concern.
