There is also a compatibility option for exact compatibility with youtube-dl yt-dlp --compat-options youtube-dl

The AUR also has a package (yt-dlp-drop-in) that basically provides a youtube-dl binary for compatibility with apps that have hard-coded yt-dl dependency
