In the ephys rig, the side camera is set to a higher frame rate (60Hz) than in the ephys rig (30Hz). The ephys rig can be used for behavioural training (expecting ~5-10 days per animal). The pipeline for behaviour data extraction expects a 30Hz acquisition rate for the video (otherwise the files might be too large).
Describe the solution you'd like
For ease on the user, we would like to avoid changing the setting of the camera, hence recording at 60Hz during behaviour.
The extraction would thus have to be based on 1 out of 2 frames (effectively 30Hz) of the video.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Recording the video output at 60Hz (and not bother with removing 1/2 frame)
Changing the file setting manually each time one runs behavioural acquisition.
