Entity reference drop-downs crash when editing multiple objects #3

E.g. select all companions, expand inventory, and try to open the drop-down for body - it crashes.

Workaround: look up the ID of the object in the tree (e.g. via search), and then just type it directly. The only thing that crashes is the drop-down when it opens, not the editing itself.
