Business requirement: We need a report/monitor/GUI that allows to check every clock time (punch) by each employee on the day.
Features:
Live data. Real time (or almost).
Report with auto refresh.
Just one row por employee
All list in one page (display).
Alphabetical Order List.
Possibility of filtering for those who have at least one “clock time” or All.
Done:
A call was made with ADP Support and they replied that they do not have a Report / Monitor as required.
Report option is discarded because the output is PDF (static).
ADP gives an option to use an interface that provides this information: Menu / ”People and Process” / “Group Timecard”
A new solution is designed:
o Ask ADP to develop an interface similar (clone) to Menu / ”People and Process” / “Group Timecard” with these features:
Just one row por employee. It currently creates several lines per employee.
All list in one page (display).
Alphabetical Order List by Employee Name.
Possibility of filtering for those who have at least one “clock time” or All. New feature.
o Operation of the Solution:
Create a Service User in ADP who only has access to this interface: Menu / ”People and Process” / “Group Timecard (custom)”. Due to confidentiality of the information in ADP, it user cannot navigate or review other menu options.
With the procedure similar to the Power BI floor reports or the ViciDial monitor on the computer reserved for Floor Reports, open a Chrome Browser Instance with the option Menu / ”People and Process” / “Group Timecard”.
Activate the TamperMonkey Chrome plugin that auto refreshes the browser every 5 minutes.

Thuraya will contact ADP to ask how to create a Service User who only has access to: Menu / ”People and Process” / “Group Timecard (custom)”
[Done] Cesar will ask ADP support for the feasibility of making the new custom interface: Menu / ”People and Process” / “Group Timecard (custom)”. We are waiting for an ADP response.
