I read through the Word tutorial file and added some suggestions for minor changes. (I didn't actually work the examples though). It might be helpful to have an appendix in the tutorial with all the ontology terms that have ShortBOL tokens assigned to them, e.g:

What if I need to use an explicit URI for an SO or SBO term that does not already have a token defined? Is there a way for a user to define a new token?
