Magento DE - Installation #6

Hi… first of all thanks for the Magento DE version. I am really looking forward to using it. Unfortunately I have some problems with the installation.

I have downloaded the files with the "direct download link". I have unzipped it. Uploaded all the files of the "src" folder to my root folder, I have started "magento-cleanup.php" and finally have started the installation. Now I have two issues:

  1. What to do with the files "modman" and "composer.json"?
  2. The installation starts, but it seems as if there is no formatting/design at all. Please see the screenshots below.
    • PHP-Version: 5.3.21
    • MySQL-Version: 5.1.66

  1. You can safely ignore "modman" and "composer.json". It's used for deployment and release management in some settings. You can read more about that at https://github.com/colinmollenhour/modman and http://magebase.com/magento-tutorials/composer-with-magento/.
  2. I have never seen this. If you contact us via email, I'll get back to you as I'd need to have a look into that system..

It was a problem with access rights due to using the "magento-cleanup.php".
