50.samba: ERROR: samba tcp port 445 is not responding on secondary.fractalio.lan #69

After running the first_time_setup.py on the secondary ctdb is showing below error.

50.samba: ERROR: samba tcp port 445 is not responding

This issue is reproducible when gluster_reset_secondary.sh is run without bringing down the ctdb service on the secondary and do first_time_Setup from primary. But once ctdb service is restarted it works fine.

I also tested by shutting down the ctdb server on secondary and run gluster_reset_secondary and running first_time_setup on primary and it did not show any issue.

Before running reset on secondary, you have to run reset on primary., Was that done ?

To avoid this confusion, can we include the commands in only one script which is at the primary so that it can invoke the secondary and execute the things.

We shoudl probably add ctdb stop to the reset scripts
