This is mostly to clarify that this also works with self-hosted versions of gitlab.

Actually, the public bot at https://t.me/gitlab_bot can be also used with a private setup. Just follow the same instruction it sent. If you will want to auth bot it will auto-detect that you have a self-hosted version and send appropriate link
