Design landing page #19

We want the landing page to give some information about the project and invite people to the rest of the site. An eye-catching image would be great too.

For now, we have the text from #3, but that is also in a separate post about using the lab materials.

A landing page has been stubbed out. Currently it has the same photo 3 times -- that needs to be changed -- but it shows a general layout and design.

The logo has been updated as well, as has the font for headers and the colors.

We're getting there.

More updates. We now have multiple photos and the layout does better on a small screen (e.g., a phone).

I should probably have the top menu convert to a "hamburger" when the screen is small. Other than that, I think the landing page is useable.

Hamburger menu implemented. With that, I'll close this issue. We can open a new issue if we discover bugs or have ideas for different design elements.
