In a scenario where a team wishes to leverage subscriptions to the pulls feature, the unfurled content is to large resulting in spam.
Describe the solution you'd like
If given the ability to control which metrics are shown from an unfurled link, pull posts can be scaled to allow teams to get at a glance information for new/existing PR's without requiring navigation to GitHub and manually doing so.
Use case one:
A pull request has an extensive description containing a mixture of images, video (mp4/gif), and other markdown content. The team requires the following information within a pull subscription message from the GitHub extension:
name
assignees
labels
merge status
comment count
Ideally, threaded comments (have yet to check if this happens). Configurable posting of comments as well, in some use cases it is undesirable to have MS teams posts "bumped" due to a comment.
This is a bare minimum for this use case, other metrics are simply not relevant in this scenario. A nice to have would be a configurable set of settings to supply our own post content with various metrics that can be extracted from an unfurled GitHub link.
