Describe the bug

I'm unable to sign into the GitHub app within Teams. Every time I do, I get an error saying "Something went wrong!" without any other details. Here's the most recent error:

CleanShot 2023-07-11 at 14 37 22

The sign-in flow seems to go through as expected, and the app does show up in the "Authorized GitHub Apps" list in my account:

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install GitHub app in Microsoft Teams
  2. Send the "signin" message to the GitHub app
  3. Click on the "Connect GitHub account" button
  4. Go through the sign-in flow
  5. Note the error message

Expected behavior

Expected the sign-in process to complete successfully.

Experiencing this issue too on Windows 10 desktop and web app. If this was fixed, it would be much appreciated. We're using Okta with Github, so not sure if that is causing the issue.

This is still a thing on the Classic Teams Desktop, while the New Desktop app doesn't even get to the error, simply closes the login dialog after finalizing the process.
