Given that it's now possible for end-users to raise vulnerabilities as an advisory privately with the maintainers of a repo, it follows that it should be possible to also subscribe to alerts when an advisory is created, updated etc.

To be able to subscribe to be alerted in Slack when an advisory is created - note it should not be selected by default.

Not really sure of any workaround at this time.

It would mean that security teams for open source projects like ours can be alerted in Slack when there are incoming reports, which is quite important.
