Slack Notification No Longer Working as of Today #1928

Describe the bug When a comment is made on a PR or a change to a PR, it no longer sends a Slack notification to the user. User is still being notified via email of a change in the PR but not via Slack.

To Reproduce Head into any PR Comment on the PR or approve/deny the PR.

Expected behavior When someone comments on a PR, it should send a Slack notification to the user

Additional context Tried reinstalling the Github Slack app with no avail.

👋 - EM for notifications here. We apologize for the regression.

GitHub is starting to re-invest in the Teams and Slack integrations, and we broke scheduled reminders while building better testing + adding observability tooling. Hopefully, everything is fixed. If you see any other regressions, please let us know. 🙏 We will get to them ASAP.

We're also affected by this Slack notification issue for PRs, which disrupts our workflow. Any update on a fix would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this.

Our Slack-GitHub pull request notifications stopped working today. We have started experiencing the same bug.

Thank you, @geramirez. Recently I noticed that Slack-GitHub notifications started functioning properly again, possibly due to the fix or rollback. Our notifications now activate correctly with every pull request.

Notifications are working, but more often than not, one or more repositories are not listed. When I trigger the reminder again, another random sample of repositories are displayed.

Though I'm not sure this issue is appropriate, I have encountered a problem that certain types of activity are not notified to Slack channel. In my case, only branches are notified, even though issues, pulls, reviews, comments, commits:'channel', branches are subscribed.

Other subscriptions previously added are working as expected but it seems that subscriptions recently added are not working. Re-singing in and re-subscribing didn't work.

p.s. probably same issue as #1962 #1963

We're seeing same issue. Subscription for repository created today is not working. But previously subscribed another repository is being notified correctly. We also tried re-signing(permission update) and re-subscribing, but it didn't solve the issue.

My trouble on https://github.com/integrations/slack/issues/1928#issuecomment-2370036461 seems to be solved. Now all subscriptions work well 😄
