Reminders in DM no longer edit to struck-through formatting when addressed #1939

Describe the bug The PR reminders sent to me in DM used to strike-through once I had addressed the review. It no longer does that.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Use PR reminders in DM
  2. Observe what I described

Expected behavior If I submit a review, or remove myself from the review request, the original notification message should be edited to strike-through formatting, which happened reliably before.

All of these reviews have been addressed by me. The first message (2024-08-23 ~8PM ET) is the last time this worked.

This seems to be working again. As of ~5pm ET on 9/20, the strike-throughs are back for me.
