closing the polkadot.js extension window by pressing the exit/close button results in an endless spinning

How to recreate: participate in the crowdloan on the integritee page, contribute ksm amount, when polkadot extension window opens, close the window not by pressing cancel, but by pressing the exit/close button (top right windows, top left osx). --> endless spinning until reloading the page

why do we dimm the screen and tell the user transaction is in process? it is a nice UI, but also not a necessity.. if we would not dimm the screen and put a spinner, the user would be able to add more transactions and the polkadot{.js} plugin knows how to handle it by adding more transactions, see here: when pressing twice on the button "participate" @mosonyi what do you think?

Ok, more food for thoughts:

• not dimming the screen and leaving the user more possibilities to do is bad UX and shouldn't be done
• handling the exit button press of the polkadot.js extension as a cancellation of the transaction is wrong, because that's actually not happening, you can simply reopen the extension in your browser and continue your ongoing contribution. So my suggestion is: Inform the user that he can reopen the extension and continue his contribution if he accidently closed the window in the dimmed screen text. Like this he will understand how to circumvent the endless spinning and continue his contribution.
