Move epic description from Zenhub to GitHub #1168

Open clangenb opened 1 year ago

clangenb commented 1 year ago

Internally, we have been using ZenHub to organize sprints and roadmaps and so on. This has been working well, but the epic issues in GitHub are just mere placeholders and nobody knows what is going on. Recently, we have been observing increasing interest in the repository and also community contributions; hence I would like to create more transparency of the current roadmap.

Anything else?

Thanks @clangenb, yes this definitely helps improve the transparency, we highly appreciate it!

We used to use Zenhub too but it gradually slided out of view as we found it was not much needed -- GH can already cover our needs in most cases. Regarding Epic we simply create parent issues with bullet points and convert each bullet to a (sub-)issue.
