storage policy supporting for openstack swift #167

One new feature called Storage Policies is coming out in IceHouse and the only API difference for applications is the inclusion of a new header called "X-Storage-Policy: " where the names are defined in swift.conf and map to different object rings per design of the cluster.

The feature is not available on master right now but will be soon (won’t hurt to use it on master though, just won’t do anything). Policies is currently on feature/ec branch, but expected to be merged to master in one or two weeks.
