Looks like it's a display out issue since the screenshot is fine. But here is what I see
The issue for this is using Xorg instead of Wayland. To fix it:
This also means that Cinnamon DE and the other non-Wayland DEs are incompatible with the gpgpu install
Hi, I've followed the GPGPU guide twice https://dgpu-docs.intel.com/installation-guides/ubuntu/ubuntu-jammy-arc.html and have gotten weird colours both times after following this guide. I have tried both Ubuntu and a completely fresh Mint installation. This issue appears on a dvi monitor (after using a dp to dvi adapter from my gpu) and a hdmi tv. The colours were normal before I followed this guide on Ubuntu lts 22.04, Linux Mint 21 Cinnamon. The colours are normal on clearlinux and windows 10. The colour are also normal during bios and the mint logo boot screen. Also the colours be okay when ubuntu logo boot screen would start but would "corrupt" during this screen. GPU is an arc a770 16gb LE. I do not have an iGPU either with my i5 13600kf. These colours are always high contrast-like. Interestingly selecting the same colour profile changes the colour in different ways. Also during animations where the colours change it strobes like crazy.
outputs hwinfo --display
vainfo
clinfo
glxinfo | grep OpenGL
journalctlboot.log
Screenshot from affected computer. I have been trying different colour profiles so I can see the text I'm typing.
Thanks, Richard
