The Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U is a Family 0x06, Model 0x8E, Stepping 0x0A processor. If you are looking for a Linux loadable microcode update, you will want the microcode file 06-8e-0a available on this GitHub. If you are looking for an updated BIOS containing the new microcode update, please contact your system vendor.

last week I installed new bios with microcode 8E. and I need B4 code which solves vulnerability issues published on 14th may 2019 by Microsoft

@RAJU2529 For a Windows version, you will need to download and apply the update package from Microsoft that contains the updated microcode. You can find the information here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4494175/kb4494175-intel-microcode-updates

thanks sir for the information. Three days before I was updated Windows update microcode B4. But I have fear sir. if I uninstall that particular update, then again my processor is vulnerable.

More over I want to discuss with you for the invite spectra and meltdown registry settings.

I have tested on different registry keys and I taken powershell script results screenshots.

I want to conform , still the processor is security issues or not1.

If you have free time and if you allow me to interact with I can send screenshots. Thanking sir.

Microcode updates that are installed via the operating system are not persistent in that they do not update the version in the BIOS. As long as you do not uninstall the Windows Update package, it will load on each boot. If you are looking for the microcode update to be persistent and not rely on the operating system to load, your system vendor will need to provide an updated BIOS containing the new microcode. The security updates in the microcode updates are cumulative. The version for your platform contains the mitigations for Spectre and Meltdown. Microsoft has a Knowledge Base article on which registry settings to check here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4073119/protect-against-speculative-execution-side-channel-vulnerabilities-in

Thanks sir for reply . sir I already added certain registry keys for spectra and meltdown. As your computer might be vulnerable, so you also taken precautions.

if you willing to see the powershell script screenshots, I can share to you , so that you view and tell me system is vulnerable or not and guide me how to prevent or block
