ci-build: update dependencies #57

Update ci dependencies to be able to build the upcoming Kind support.

@garyloug can we review and merge if all is ok? so that we can rebuild the kind PR?

Seems "Waiting for status to be reported" is a common bug on GH actions. Re-running did not fix. Only suggested fix is to recreate the PR. It's a small update, happy with the changes, so briefly disabled branch protection to allow merge.
