A LiveCode+Java+AndroidSDK package #229

Hello, friends.

I want to learn to program in Android and I have choosen LiveCode.

Is there a package that contains LiveCode, JDK and Android SDK, in a similar way to WAMP and/or JoomlaSpanishServer2?

I ask this because I am having trouble with: Android HAXM

When I read about how to "install" HAXM, I see things as:

Visual Studio 2017 Universal Windows Platform development Desktop development with C++. Windows SDK for Windows 10 Windows Driver Kit (WDK) for Windows 10 Note that ... the Windows 10 SDK installed by Visual Studio 2017 ... may not be the latest version.

Enterprise WDK (EWDK) 10 with Visual Studio Build Tools 15.6 NuGet CLI tool (nuget.exe) version 4.x or later

But I only want to run LiveCode 9.x and make programs in it.

Thanks for your report. HAXM mainly supports Android Studio as one of the SDK Tools. We are not sure if there is an all-in-one package contains the tools you want. In order to install HAXM, you don't have to install above software, which packages are for developing or building HAXM from source code. As for the failure of HAXM installation, please see my comment at #228 to resolve the environment issues. Moreover, I noticed that you downloaded the 32-bit Android SDK. Is your operating system Windows 7 32-bit? If so, please refer to the System Requirement for more details to set up your environment.

Yes, I am installing 32bit Android SDK, because I have Win7 32bits. I'll see 228 and Sys Req as you mention.

My objective is to know LiveCode. As part on the installation, we need to install Android SDK, and JDK. But when I read (after difficulties) I saw that I need to install HAXM; as I got error I asked you....(but as I said in another mail, I have new tryings, and later I'll say to you).

For me that I am not a mobile developer --but want to get that environment--, it is very difficult to get what I need, because I need to install a lot of programs... knowing that I only want to learn (first learn, later earn money, but I understand that learning will get long...). When I get to know how to program in the language I elected, I understand that it has to take me a (financial) cost included boring installing and installings and installings. But for now I would like to get am simplistic environment as a WAMP-like package (that would include for mobile environments something like JDK --a version that can be used--, Android SDK --as complete as needed--, a SQLite/MySQL/MariaDB, a language as PHP/HTML5/JavaScript, the language I want: LiveCode and/or KotLin, the web server Apache, and ......................)

If you could say me instructions to me, I would build an utility like I said... to share.... I would like to ease a knowledge this to people interested.
