Integrating this module into the libcamera project would allow for IPU6-compatible cameras to be used on Linux system before upstreaming, seeing as outstanding V4L2 issues like intel/ipu6-drivers#30 prevent the DKMS drivers from being used as-is on a desktop Linux system.
