Dear ALL Who can help me? Thank you !!
Hi ginochen,
What is the PREFERRED_PROVIDER and PREFERRED_VERSION that is set in your local.conf?
Currently the meta-intel-leafhill layer that is configured for Apollo Lake platform is enabled with the standard Linux flavor for now. We will be supporting Preempt-RT flavor later this year on Linux v4.9.
Thanks.
Your issue
Hi meiyeenng
I used GUI(hob) to build yocto image and choose core-image-rt-sdk. But it not success.
So Linux v4.9 will support Preempt-RT for Apollo Lake platform?
Thank you very much!!
Your answer
Hi meiyeenng
May I know if Kernel 4.9 Preempt-rt supports Apollo lake platform? Support BayTrial platform?
Thank you very much!!!
Hi ginochen,
Kindly refer Intel website for more details on the latest release. We will make announcement on the website when new milestone/ kernel supported. BSP in this github supports Apollo Lake only, kindly refer Intel website for Baytrail platform.
Hi ginochen,
For both Apollo Lake platform and Bay Trail, Preempt-RT version is not supported. You can check at the Yocto Project Downloads page for details of Bay Trail BSP: https://www.yoctoproject.org/downloads/bsps/jethro20/valley-island
When I try to build this layer against my ApolloLake Board layer I get the following error message:
ERROR: Multiple .bb files are due to be built which each provide virtual/kernel (/home/avalue/201705010-work/yocto_build/meta/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-yocto_4.1.bb /home/avalue/201705010-work/yocto_build/meta/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-yocto-rt_4.1.bb). This usually means one provides something the other doesn't and should.
Could you help me check this BSP have support Preempt-rt option ?
Thank you very much.
