Spec is really bad in the sense that it just lists IDL and doesn't explain any use-case for the objects

Like 2.3 Range in common.

If you look at it, you have absolutely no idea what it is supposed to be used for.

Yep, that's true. We're currently using a spec-style document for reference only... :)
